Cleaning Techniques
Best practice for any piece of furniture takes a general precaution towards unusual environments. As such, we recommend avoiding exposure to direct sunlight, heat or humidity to prevent fading and cracking. Surfaces should be covered when possible to prevent obvious damage. Use coasters and mats under glasses and hot dishes. Please be aware that heavily dyed fabric, like dark wash denim, can transfer to your furniture and cause discoloration.

Mold and Mildew Stains

To effectively remove mold or mildew from fabric surfaces, begin by preparing a cleaning solution consisting of one cup of bleach and one-fourth cup of mild soap per gallon of water. Spray the solution evenly across the entire affected area and allow it to soak into the fabric for approximately 15 minutes. After soaking, gently clean the surface using a sponge, clean towel, or a very soft bristle brush. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to eliminate any soap residue, and allow the fabric to air dry completely. For more severe cases of mold or mildew, the amount of bleach in the solution may be increased. To prevent water rings and uneven cleaning, it is recommended to treat the entire surface area of the fabric rather than spot-cleaning isolated sections.

Wood Care
To maintain the quality and longevity of your furniture, please avoid placing it near sources of moisture. When cleaning wood surfaces, use a soft, damp cloth made of 100% cotton and ensure the area is dried thoroughly afterward. It is recommended to place protective materials beneath any objects that will come into contact with the surface to prevent damage. Additionally, use non-plastic mats or pads to protect the tabletop from scratches, heat, or discoloration.
